I spent a lot of my time last week to complete this assignment since my husband and I were going on vacation. I thought it was due on Sat. June 20 and I wouldn't be around to complete it by the due date.
I had a hard time deciding on where to take them. In 2nd grade we focus some time on studying bees, so I thought it would be fun to take them on a bee field trip. There wasn't a place to take them to explore bees over the internet. There was a lot of helpful information that I found that I have bookmarked at delicous.
I ended up taking my students on a trip to the San Diego Zoo. I think my students will enjoy the journey through the zoo and the different habitats we will be studying.

ReplyDeleteMy husband is a beekeeper -- I have several photos and a powerpoint that he created for 4th graders that I could share with you. They don't necessarily make for a "field trip," but they are from central Nebraska! :)
